Description
I sit with tears in my heart. I know I must think of my son's happiness but it doesn't stop my heart from hurting.

This is the era when the word 'mom'
no longer means the one who gave birth to me.
The person who fed and burped me
Who made me laugh while changing
my dirty nappies
and cried with me through innoculations
Who ate the pureed food and hid stuff away from dad
when I didn't like it.
Who kissed my filthy face
because it was still beautiful to her.
Mom is now used also for dad's new wife of a few years.

As Jesus says "Love one another
As I have loved you"
How do you love someone
who has moved into your special place
in your childs heart?
God, please give me peace and understanding
Cause I am weak and nothing without you.
