Marvelous little creature. I once read in a biology text that Nature has an inordinate fondness for beetles as there are more breeds of beetle on Earth than any other animal species, and I always find it amusing that ladybugs and fireflies are distant relatives! They even wear the same "shields" on their thorax body parts. And as for this trio of shots, it's amazing! Such vivid colors. I want a balcony with visitors like that! I also love the light in these shots...it's so crisp and clear. These are great! More would be most welcome.
