i actually took this photo last summer with my old canon 20d camera. the horse’s name is biff I’ve photographed him before. i wanted to show off his white tail this time. if you look closely you can see three sand hill cranes right above biff to the right of the gate. thank you! :)

What an elegant image! There is a wonderful mood in this--quite nicely evocative of everything a solitary horse might imply: grace, dignity, a name like Biff. Perfect! This is such a gorgeous, relaxing shot.
