Hello Denise! this image is for you. on my way to work this morning, I stopped to see the water level of the Washougal River. While it is nice to see that the level has dropped, the cool part was seeing this Heron watching some goslings swimming about in the little inlet thanks for all the comments and faves Mike PS the water has dropped tremendously since my last post

Oooh, it's so pretty and green; I do hope that the goslings escaped the heron's notice, even though I know it's nature's way that most of them end up feeding bigger creatures. Thanks so much for thinking of me when you saw this fantastic scene and for having your camera with you to capture it!
