Description
The lovely Naoko Mori as Toshiko from the Doctor Who spin off series Torchwood. Another simple portrait done to practice coloured pencil technique, and well because I always thought that Tosh was cool. I used the tint of the paper as part of her skin tone, which was challenging to get to look right. Lots of light layering of colour to build up the tones, as well as using a white pencil to work in the highlights.
Done with a combination of Derwent, Spectracolor and Prismacolor pencils on Canson Mi-teintes 98lb paper. Thanks for stopping by and having a look.
