Description
Another Star Trek fan-art image for my brother, this time returning to ST:TOS. Here's the iconic captain looking determined on yet another desolate planet. I have no doubt that this fellow (the character, not the actor) will go down as one of the greatest captains in Science Fiction.
This image looks best in the full-size version. Thanks for stopping by to take a look, and please feel free to leave a comment. All feedback is appreciated.

The resemblance to James Shatner is remarkable. Fine job of morphing here.

Superbly done! That looks like a scene out of a possible new movie, or even a rebooted TOS style series. The otherlyworldly atmospheric effects are top notch - stone ruins, dusty dunes landscape, dust and haze, planets in the sky. "_

Nicely done.

For anyone who has seen it the image immediately bring back the nostalgia. To go where no man has gone before! Excellent render no one would think that this is a Poser figure but an original hand painted illustration. You have captured the very essence of the Star Trek. The stance, the pose the expression 'rejection of convenience'.

WOW...Amazing render and representation, this is just like captain Kirk, the lighting is absolutely amazing and the setting too, a very fine work indeed, loved that series, great style! ***

Absolutely amazing image of the iconic legend! The character is a personal hero of mine (I actually wept when he died in "Generations"). Great choice of set, totally reminiscent of the many "ancient ruins" they found themselves mucking about in. You know for a fact that Spock and Bones are just out of shot and ready to come to his aid (the obligatory Red Shirt has probably already been killed by this point!) Great work! He does, indeed, look painted!

He knows he's quite safe; his jersey isn't red ... Very nice work!
