Description

Ok, I was pooped... and I think Lori was tired of waiting for me as we were hiking up the trail but then I looked over my shoulder and, suddenly, I didn't notice the fatigue anymore! The Sun was hitting the falls and mist just right and I said, as I did so often, "Look at that!" I almost forgot about my camera as we watched the misty rainbow undulating along the tree tops. It didn't last long but I'll never forget those few moments. Even though I knew there was so much still to see I thought this was worth the whole trip! Of course when I was back at our room, and got a chance to go over the photos of the day, I thought of so many other ways I could have composed some of the shots... so I guess I'll have to go back, dangit :) Hope y'all enjoy and thanks for lookin' Manning

Lovin the floaty rainbow! If you look above the rainbow there almost seems to be a face in the rocks (zoom view). =) I'm influenced by Sharky's lava and Richard's clouds no doubt! Looks kinda mountain lion-ish to me. >.< Beautiful capture and aren't we soooooo very glad to have cameras to make records of our memories~

I always think of a better way to take photos of the day and wish I can go back and i know there are places and times that I can not but the places I can I do go back. very magic image here

phantastic photo ! nice quality and perfect composition (including the leaves in the foreground to give a lot of depth, placing of the fall and the rainbow mist).... well done !
