Description
Along historic Route 66 in Arizona somewhere between Kingman and Oatman. A lonely feeling but at the same time exhilarating. Rarely did another car pass by and I had the most exquisite feeling of freedom. A lizard, a bird ... silence ... wow!
I was on my way to meet Lori in Sacramento, California. It's a long drive frome Oklahoma to there so I left a few days early to meet her there when she arrived. I had my GPS set to "shortest" instead of "quickest" route and when it told me to get off Interstate 40 at Kingman I did a double take and checked my map. I don't really know why I chose to continue on old 66 but I'm sure glad I did.
Thank y'all for lookin' and for all the nice comment on my last couple of posts.

Un délice pour les yeux, à perte de vue. Joli coup d'oeil.

Wonderful long view~ =) I remember some of those tremendous valleys in AZ... in one we could see far far into the distance a long long train (looked like a miniature on a set) in full with miles of track in front and behind it and that was just in the mid-ground!
