Description

Gormach made the seriously stupid mistake of trying to kidnap Fionna to force the Court's hand. - to make them all stay and fight a battle they didn't choose to fight. They already knew from experience, fighting with the Roman legions was suicide the way they were accustomed to fighting. They didn't have enough warriors to fight effectively. Something or someone came out of the fog into the midst of their encampment roaring like a great cat. The very sight of him made all of them run but Gormach. The intruder's skin shimmered in a rainbow of unnatural colors, glowing like phosphorus. His eyes were the eyes of a serpent and red as blood. The face was barely recognizable contorted in rage, but those creatures dyed into his skin left no room for doubt as to who it was. Gormach was up off the stump headed for Fionna, when Gryffyn caught him. This was the last thing he would ever see again, the last air he would breathe. No one, absolutely NO ONE would ever take Fionna against her will and live to tell the tale. Gryffyn had rescued her from her burned out village while the pillagers were still at work, and saved her from their desecrations in the first place. She'd been barely a girl then. Why he was there when he was, was a mystery to him. He simply was, and it seemed as if the gods had handed her to him. She'd been with him ever since. She was his best pupil, his truest friend and then his love - but scum like Gormach didn't understand things like that. Gryffyn understood a lot of things very well - especially the effect of a swift and decisive retribution on any further attempts. ***** Background in VUE, my Gryffyn Poser figure and a lot of filters in P-Shop. Colors are intentionally weird and splotchy - supernatural strangeness. Weekend is coming! Hope you all have a great one and thanks so much for your comments and views :* Rayvn
