Pretensions to Rivalry Gormach thought himself special because he was a member of the Court. Truth was, if Macha hadn't decided he was her most loyal follower and taken him to her bed, he wouldn't be in their Court at all. Gormach was far too hot headed and bellicose for reason to prevail for very long in his head. Gormach was a 'natural born fian' - a warrior...or so Macha had whispered in his ear. Like Macha, he felt a little well exerted force and intimidation would be better than slipping off into the night like most of the rest of them wanted to do. Gryffyn could 'see' that Macha had been filling Gormach with battle-plans and probably other things as Gormach stormed into Gryffyn's workshop with a surly sneer on his lips. "Sooo! What is this I hear? The the almighty Gryffyn ap Llyr would sooner hop on a boat and flee to new lands, than stand and fight for what we got ourselves here? Is that true?" Gormach didn't leave Gryffyn a chance to answer, but neither was the Druid inclined to humor him with a conversation about something that had alread been proclaimed by the Oracle Head of Suoma - out of Fayidh's mouth, not Gryffyn's. They were all to go their preferred paths, as they chose. It turned out most of them had chosen to go to the Great Western Land rather than stay and fight...again. There were those who would stay and fight, of course. More power to them. But they hadn't survived as long as they had by allowing themselves to be entirely decimated. "We can kill 'em all! We've got the power! Mother Danu is on our side. Have you become a woman now, oh great Gryffyn ap Llyr...mighty High Druid? You're like that sot Fayidh, soft and weak." Gormach stabbed at his burly chest with his finger, sneering again. "If you can't beat them, then I WILL! I'll show you all just who should be the High Druid and the Lord of the Fey around here, I will! Eunuch! Where's your manhood? Under the bed at home with Fionna?" he cackled wickedly. "Are you done now?" Gryffyn asked calmly. Gormach only snarled all the more and poked himself in the chest again. Now Gryffyn grabbed him by the wrist and dragged Gormach out of his workshop with much protesting and flailing. There were few who could escape Gryffyn's grasp. "Come on, Gormach. You're going to repeat what you just said to me in front of the Court. Word for word." "I will not!" Gormach tried to punch the Druid in the back, but lost his footing and fell to the ground. Gryffyn stood over him, fire burning in his eyes. He stretched out his hand and Gormach began to feel a crushing weight around him, as if he were in the Druid's hand and he was strangling the life out of him. It lasted perhaps a minute, and Gormach thought he would pass out, when Gryffyn 'let loose' of him. "You will, won't you Gormach...donkey-ears?" Poser figures Gryffyn and Gormach created by me.
