Description

I haven't been posting very frequently, because my time to comment has been a bit sparse since returning from holiday. I hope that will improve in time, but meanwhile, I found out today that I can post a link to my facebook page galleries and anyone can go check out pics without having a facebook page and without having to go through hoops or register. I've put some photos I took of Dublin there and anyone who is interested can see them here by copy and paste: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.123940241022227.31932.100002187553583&l=7925053f3c I'll be posting my Irish images here on RR, just rather slowly. I'm viewing more of the great images on RR than I am actually commenting on and I am loving all of the art I see. This image was taken at St Stephen's Green Shopping Center in Dublin. It was built in the late 1980s on the site of the Dandelion Market (the location early gigs of U2). The shopping center has large open spaces and was built to resemble a Victorian greenhouse. Thanks for viewing and for previous comments and favs!

WOW! This is one of those shots that makes me actually use words like "zowie." There's so much to see, so many fantastic details, lines, colors, and even a diminutive, but wholly-engaging bit of human interest. I love the clarity and the off-kilter POV. I can fully grasp the fact that this is looking down, but it does something funny on my computer screen. I think it's because it's a downward POV but I'm seeing it directly in front of me. I love it when images make that sort of disconnec in one's senses. I'm in love with the colors and the shapes: such gorgeous lines in this, and it's easy for the eye to wander and find something somewhere. Really nice. Oh, and I know exactly how it feels to have limited time for fun stuff! Fun ain't it? At any rate, this is superb work!
