My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Great photograph.

Beautiful, especially when combined with the decorative iron work. The tiles last forever and they don't burn.

Wonderful capture it would be interesting to see you postwork this image with the 'Plastic wrap' filter

very warm and interesting motive. the sun reflections are within the limits, could be fun to work as a HDR. I know you like to cut, still i would have liked to see the latern completely.

Super shot...I bet you could have stayed all day. I guess non-photographers just don't understand.

An amazing photo, Tara! Love the warm tones - so beautiful! Those opposing angles very much remind me of an M. C. Escher painting. This is just superb! I completely understand the "never enough time" thing! Been there many times (but not in Arizona, yet...). :-D

here you need a lot more batters and cards to take all the photos you wish. cool shot

You sure got around in that place Tara, lovely shot. We stopped there for a meal on our trip so didn't have chance for many shots but it is a nice town.

But it looks so very HOT! My mind wants to crawl along that roof and see what is behind the wall...

The comments above say it all. The buildings simply cry out, "Southwest". It would be fun to visit Tlaquepaque at various times on a sunny day (aren't they all) and photograph various objects, alleyways, plazas, balconies, etc. in differing light conditions based upon varying angles of the sun. Composition here is exquisitely simple. Very niceeeee:)

beautiful shot! :)

This is a gorgeous shot, full of those interesting roof-details I learned to see in a place where every roof was red tile...even the non-red roofs (all three of them) were once red, but in disrepair. Needless to say, this shot brought back all sorts of memories and associations and I love it for that as well as for the gorgeousness that you captured. You have quite an eye, and this is absolutely gorgeous! I love the warm colors! Now, I wonder if the fixed-up, tourist-friendly parts of Ükür look like that. Probably not, but you never know! This is a great shot!
