Description

Taken at a lovely farm in Connecticut called Buttonwood Farm. Each year they host a sunflower festival where all the money is given to children's charities. They also have great ice cream! http://www.sunflowersforwishes.com/

Gorgeous! You've managed to get all the light and retain the detail on the yellow petals ... no mean feat! I love the bit of blue in the corner. It's the perfect foil. SUCH fine work!

We were VERY lucky that day! It was cloudy! Most of my pics were well exposed because the light was not contrasty as it would be on a sunny day.
