Description

A lighting exercise inspired by PhilW's excellent Carrara 8 tutorial series - available at Daz and Infinite Skills. (As I've said before, if you want to sharpen your Carrara skills this is the best $100 you can spend.) HDRI lighting and two spots - no postwork except to insert the logo. All effects seen here are Carrara sky, lighting or rendering options. I kinda liked how it turned out so I decided to post it. Yes, I've been away for a bit again. I finally relented and had some surgery that I've been delaying for years. The surgery itself went better than expected but I've had complications, including a serious infection. To be fair, considering my other medical issues the doctors have done a rather remarkable job getting a handle on it. But the result is I'm too weak to sit at the keyboard for long, so simple exercises like this will be all I can do for the forseeable future. (Sigh, once again Aranée is on hiatus - sorry.) Thanks for those who have asked about me, I really appreciate it. I will take a peek at your galleries as time (and body) permit.

Gorgeous pic. Had no idea that Carrara could produce amazing effects like this. It must have taken a long time to render. We'll wait patiently for the next installment in Aranée's story. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Now this is just lovely....I especially like the way all the flowers seem to be leaning towards her, as they lean to the sun....
