UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

Man, what a view! I can imagine they're spending a buck or two on this one! Great shot, Bill! I can't wait to see the almost-finished version!

WOW! What a view and what a room! Of course, being from Chicago, I'm amazed that a city can be hilly. Chicago is so flat that if someone comes to visit you on a Sunday and then they walk home, you can still see them on Tuesday (if none of the buildings got in the way.) That is how flat Chicago is. I've seen bumpier pool tables! This is a gorgeous shot: so elegant!

Really looks like a dream house. It's nice when people can build a house just the way they want it.

But I can tell from the angle of the view of the city that the mountain will be visible when it's clear, and what a view it will be! Lucky people!

I'm really looking forward to going back! What do you bet we get an invite to the first party once they've moved in ... :P I would love to get a couple of shots from the roof on a sunny day when the mountain is out!

Very nice photo, catching both the bare (but yet very roomy and nice looking) interior, and the view, which add a lot - no need for paintings on these walls! Now, is this north west of the Univ. of Washington? I was there in 1978, but can't remember the geography exactly. The lower part of the university was on the water (Union Bay, Portage Bay), but the upper part was on a step cliff-like hill. I was received like a king. Unfortunately, fate had would have it otherwise - my professor died shortly after my arrival, so I had to leave.

Certainly a spectacular view - WHITE is just so grandiose - there is no need to furnish it with too much, IMHO - less is more! and besides the outside has been brought in. fabulous image, BB
