My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

So I listened, then got caught up in more of her music--ty for that; I'd forgotten how GOOD she is!! And this foto--wow....it does look as though it's ready for blast off!!

Only you can make these noisy objects look so good!

Great shot.

A great shot of an amazing creation!

The music is good Tara, but what is it? A prop or a jet? I can't match the cockpit window with anything I know. And what is this thing in the right foreground? A wing? That could indicate a tail dragger, but the cockpit canopy looks too new for that.

A beautiful shot, Tara :-) I like the soft look.

Great image sweetie Hugs Susan~

Nice POV. It does look like it is climbing. I'm with Marilyn, I had forgotten how good Diana Krall was. Thanks for the link. If you are ever in Los Angeles have lunch at the Proud Bird near the airport. They have an aircraft garden with planes from World War I to Vietnam. I think Bill would like it.

Another 'riveting' image Tara!!

Fantastic capture.

Very cool! I love Diana Krall. She's great pianist as well as singer. Jonathan Schwartz plays a lot of her.

Great shot, Tara she is a great singer

Wow, this is a real stunner; there's a magical glow and an intriguing softness to the metal. Your signature style and skill all over it!

I love combining image with the right music and what a great combo, I was in space!

Great shot and interesting interpretation singing! :)

Well now! Here is one......Mmmmmmm? I have a feeling its an early U.S. jet, something of the T-33 Shooting Star type thing? (Check with Bill for that one LOL) OR.....it could be a Republic Thunderjet of some kind? Great post Tara and the song.....not bad.. Not quite Metallica but ;-) Rob

A long way to go :)))

Nice angle.

Well you fooled a few by tilting this! no fooling with the music though, love Diana Krall....My first thought, like Rob was 'Shooting Star' but...it could be one of several, hope you're going to put us out of our 'happy' misery...great photo..

A great angle to take this shot from, it looks as though it is going off to the moon.

going to the moon to eat cheese... wonderful image

Well done composition...Like the soft tones and the dominating diagonals. Ooooooo, and I know what this is:))) Can I say? Oh, why not,...just for the record a Republic F-84F Thunderstreak from the early 1950s plus a little bit of the green nose of a Gloster Meteor N.F.-11 from the late 1940s.

sings full of smiles as I enjoyed the view warm hugs, Linda Kaye

Nice one, Tara! Looks like she's all ready for a luar voyage! Oooo - If it's Diana Krall, I gotta go listen.... :-D

It is really amazing how image and song fit together so perfectly here...I'm listening to the music now, rather impressed with that nicely husky, but not exactly smoky voice. Really nice, and it goes interestingly with Star Trek and Lady Gaga...earlier bits of the July 4th Celebrations that are smoldering around me now. I really love the color tones in this, and those rivets are...um...riveting. I really like this.
