Description
The contact had walked away after the funds transfer in that back alley, and Gloom stood waiting for his brother to arrive with the transport for the capsule. This one would net them a boat-load of credits, if they could avoid the competition and the cops.
The Gloom and Doom brothers worked by themselves--so no backup. Faster and more secure that way. Besides, Gloom might be a pretty-boy, but he was no light-weight in a fight.
Oh, and guess what? The cops teamed up with the competition, he saw. Not unexpected. Oh, joy unbound, Gloom thought.
They came down the dead-end alley at a gallop, a handful of armored dudes and street samurai--he knew that lot. His katana was unsheathed in a moment, and the spells he'd spooled up in his aura ready to hand.
Let them come to him. Then they'd be as trapped as they thought he was.
Production notes: Gloom is Surreality's Equinox M4 character, the street samurai is the new M4 Adam in the Rendo store, Xurge M4 armor on the soldier on the left; Wayii's textures on both the Maelstrom on Gloom and the Immortal Ronin on the street samurai; Coflek-gnorg's Dead End and Techno Town sets; a Wartech rifle on soldier, using Immortal Ronin sword for Gloom and the Cyberpunk M4 sword for the samurai; my own lighting in Poser Pro2010; hair, postwork, and color manipulation in Photoshop.
