Description

More summer Vue--no training wheels this time! Whee! PLANTSES my preciousssssss.... Yeah, plant the light fantastic! I'm finally able to satisfy the craving for recreating the incredible lush growth of this part of the east coast of the U.S. Temperate jungle--pulls down anything that isn't kept up with. If the suburban strip malls were abandoned tomorrow, it'd be all forest again in twenty years. Such a lovely thought! All assembled and rendered in Vue, except for the two crows (Songbird ReMix3). Finished in photoshop--no real retouching done.

That looks fantastic! Thought it was a photo at first. As far as the strip malls go, it wouldn't take 20 years. Because of the mass exodus during last decade, I've seen parts of Detroit go back to woods far quicker than that. Very bizarre to watch a city block disappear over time.

P8 - Detroit! Should have thought of that. My guess was just a guess, but wow, seeing it, too. I just know that in 5 years little weeds turn into backyard trees around here. >.> Gotta keep ahead of it! Mowing the grass is no joke! Actually, I'm kidding...about the grass. But I was entranced by some photos from the Great Smoky Mountains in N.C., and was yearning for that greenery. Glad y'all like the picture! :)
