Description

The loud macaw is perhaps the most colorful bird in the low elevation rain forests of Costa Rica. I only had a fraction of a second to push the trigger and follow with the lens this beautiful bird flying through the low light forest. The effect achieved was pretty neat - at least I thought. Thanks for your wonderful comments and feedback.

I agree. The flashes of color and streaky background give the feeling of a fleeting glimpse of this beautiful bird. Well done.
