Description

The image I always associate with Pike Place Market is the iconic Pike Place Clock, and is famous as a tourist attraction, but once inside I realized that it's a busy, vibrant, thriving and fully functioning market place where people are actually buying and selling every day. I guess they don't call it a market for nothin'. After leaving Pike Place Market I just wanted to go home and cook something.

How neat! I like the larger image and how you can read all the diff names of the shellfish. Great capture!

I know the feeling, and I hate to cook! LOL! We're a bit too far from the market to make it practical to shop there for food (and I wouldn't enjoy taking fish home on Sound Transit!) but it's a great place to wander!
