Good evening, friends! This is another pic from Usedom, Berlin`s outpost at the Baltic Sea. Vacation at the baltic Sea has a long tradition in Berlin, it is the shortest way to the sea. Our parents knew and our grandparents, and the last emperor, Wilhelm II., too.... There is a dozen or more of important villages along the shore of the Baltic Sea who are specialised in tourism since 100 years or longer, and after the fall of the Wall they rise like Phoenix from the ash. One of these sea baths is Zinnowitz on the isle of Usedom. The pic shows the new constructed sea bridge with the diving dome at the end. The bridge replace an older wooden construction which was destroyed after WWII in a storm. For every sea bath in our time such a bridge is a must-be.... Pic was taken in May 2010 late in the evening.
