Description

Vue8Frontier/DazStudio3.1/Photoshop Another figure study, this time more of a futuristic fashion image.Figure is Victoria 3 Base and morphs, with Madeline hair,London skin mat,V3 Catsuit and SF Fashion suit texture(all from Daz3D,posed in DazStudio and imported into Vue). The face morph is my own...I was going for a more realistic look than a perfect model look. The alien plant is a Vue8Frontier preset(slightly modified). The pot and glass are booleon modelling creations, the recliner is modelled from cubes that were converted to Metablobs(as were the walls of the grotto). The wall and cushion mats are customized preset textures,as are the tiles on the floor.Rendered in Final at 600 dpi using the Global Radiosity setting and volumetric light.Postwork involved a slight levels adjustment, some cloning of annoying artifacts on the girl's arm, signature and resizing. Thanks for taking the time to view, and for any comments you wish to leave!

The main reason I love Vue is the lighting - beautifully illustrated here. You're also rapidly getting a handle on Vue modeling, which I've never got into. Great image, Neil.

Great expression on the figure. Unfortunately, the raised arm has been twisted and distorted into an unnatural shape which is very distracting. That's a problem with the posing software, but I'd clean it up in photoshop.

Re: Ihumnungus above: Who's looking at her arm? heh! One thing I do love about Vue is loading characters without having to re-texture them. She looks very relaxed.
