Photo taken at 8:25 AM on my way to work across the street. The men had started pouring concrete through the long hoses into the iron rod mesh they've been working on all week. This panorama photo shows how dreadfully long those pipes and hoses are! Simply amazing! Note that the pump trucks are aimed in the direction of their long arms for the sake of stability!
I took some more photos at 13:25. At that time, more than half the iron mesh was encased in concrete. When I went home at 17:30, the entire job was finished and the concrete smoothed.
The concrete does not contain any macadam or sand in order to be pumped through the system. Watching the work close-up from the black windows to the left in the photo, revealed the concrete to be rather quick setting.
More tomorrow!
Enjoy!
