My new signature shot: Headless! This is my 2nd to last shot of the Nicky series, this is where my job as a photographer came to a close, and she went off to the ball. I've never been to a formal dance because my parents were sponsors and chaperones of many years previous to my coming of age. The closest standard I can apply is bridesmaids and grooms men at four wedding receptions, none of which was my own. It seems the precept of the photo being headless is they left the dance and went off to live together in perpetual heartsong.

Oh oh oh!! THIS is the shot I've been waiting for. You've teased me to death (unintentionally, I'm sure) but now the detail unfolds. The trim detail between the body of the dress and the skirt. YES!! Outstanding. :D
