Description

This one of the new baby's just before she took her first flight. The first set was 3 eggs which produced 3 healthy babies, the second set again had 3 eggs, but only 2 hatched and now are healthy little ones. Someone told me, its not unheard of for them to have a 3rd set. I think it would be hard for another set to be hatched and grow enough to be ready for the long flight down south when fall gets here. Your robins are in the same family as our Thrushes and Blackbirds which is why they look so different to UK robins. Great success story from your nest, Jim!

What a cute little chap he is and this is a marvellous capture of him, you got very close. It is good that they are multiplying when so many birds are getting fewer and fewer. My wild birds are so hungry today that I am having a hard time keeping up with the sugar water.

Great timing and capture. This little fellow looks a bit uncertain. However he and his sibling were gone when I got home from work. The details are awesome, great job Jim. Love and Hugs...
