Description

This is (was) a large birch tree just outside our sunroom. After the recent storms a very large part of the tree was brought down with high winds. Luckily it didnt hit the house. It does make an interesting looking picture out the window of the sunroom. Have a wonderful Sunday. Jim

Mother Nature's rage sure did a number on this tree. It is still beautiful with all it's broken limbs. Awesome photo, the colors and lighting are gorgeous. Great capture Jim. Love n Hugs...

This must hurt even a tree a lot, I read once ina book, that when a flower is cut off, she is crying, beause she knows that her days are coming to fade, this was the reasons, why we only took the trees for Christmans with the roots, after Xmas they got a lovely place in the garden!

I hope it had the bonus of letting some light in where you wanted it! I lost the top out of a mature Silver Birch in my garden, and was thrilled to bits when it died back and I could have it felled. The difference it has made to what I can grow is enormous (as was the tree!)

Very cool shot, Jim while it is a shame that this happens to trees, it does leave some great photo ops

What a shame to lose part of this large tree, but this still looks to be interesting with this great looking joint and super textures. A nice clear capture.
