Description
Out for a morning jog,
a quick stop on the dock to look out across the peaceful lake,
Wow that's a big log floating in the river,
Oh dear God that's not a log!
I realize a big ol gator would probably make a splash. Any Carrara experts got some tips or known tutorials for modeling splashes in Carrara.
Also this looked a little cartoonish (I did not use a cartoon render setting) I used a sun light but then his face was completely black. To lighten his face I used a bulb set to not cast shadows. Any suggestion for a better light solution?
I'm very new to Carrara, and I'm not making much sense of the render settings.

I was once a boy scout and they taught us to be prepared and to be able to use alternative solutions..... I'd say postwork the splash using some of Ron Deviney's excellent water photoshop brushes...not sure if they are here but I know they are at Daz3d.com. I understand if you want the challenge of modelling it though.... good luck
