Description

here a Sun set over Lake Martin. This painting have a gloss over it and i forgot to take the photo of it. I learn if you lean the painting forward a little the shin will go away. I musty have took over 50 photos to get it right and that the trick; to lean te painting forward. this painting is 24x36

if you take a photo of a painting leaning forward you need to set the camera on a tripod at the same angle looking up at it.

Such a beautiful image that mere words can never describe it, Jock. Thanks for the tip about slanting a painting to get rid of the reflective shine.

the trick of leaning the painting... I know it, but at the same time, before I had a didgetal camera, I'd take a whole roll of film and try and catch my paintings before I let them go = a good 95% of the pictures didn't come out and I never saw my paints again - ya gotta love didgetal - lol.... I learned the best thing to do is take it outside in natural light to take the shots.
