Description
Well I took a break today from my little bug, to do a quick ant model in Sculptris. I've been wanting an ant model for a long time and the Daz3d Ant is no good and buggy (a whole in the head).
Sorry about the terrible puns.
I know the legs aren't quite touching, I was eager to give my model a test render.
This ant is not quite realistic. It is stylized from about three different real ants. I painted the texture map in Sculptris. I want to add some hairs and fix the legs especially the feet.
I got this down to about 19 megs, that's probably a bit to high.
This took about three hours for me to model, which about half of it was spent trying to learn more about sculptris. I love that program and it's FREE!
After I fix this model I will try rigging it in carrara and maybe putting it into daz... this was rendered in Reality.
