Description
Well still not very nice render job, but it's the model that I am showing.
I rigged it in Carrara, posed it and took a litle test render with stonemason hallway.
I don't want it to look so crab like. I want a more slimy squishy texture, but I haven't figured out the shaders in carrara.
The monster was modeled in Sculptris.
The eyes are crappy too, but I am not sure if I should model do shading domains, or if I should break the whole model up into separate pieces - mandibles, eye, legs, body, body section. That might give better rigging too. Any ideas?

I'm sorry I can't help you. I know nothing in modelling. But I'm sure you'll do good soon.

love the creature....looks kool to me, for what its worth I model in blender export as an obj file to c8 then shade each individual part in the vertex modelling room creating sub-domain shaders. I found great results with a jpg image of a pork chop mucked about with it to get a great rotten flesh feel! i know! jump in to the shaders and dont be afraid to muck about some great results can be achieved, also lighting plays a so important role in getting textures, the eyes are great as is the head, if it was my image i would copy the top shaders (head) onto the legs.........Im only a beginner myself but hope that helps. great concept.......
