Reached way back into my old files for this sky shot, captured 12/8/05, early in the AM, within walking distance of my adorable abode.

No rain resulted from this hodgepodge of threatening looking clouds. Just an extreme rarity of spectacular dry formations that drifted over my area between 12/8/05 to 12/19/05. A medley of various configurations, including dark cotton balls, white buttermilk clouds, and natural contrails, all interspersed with blue sky. And I was out every morning to photograph it with my obsolete Canon A80 point-and-shoot.
Haven't seen anything like it since.
