Description

Hi Everyone I hope you are well today, here is another digital paint I managed to finish. STORY,(well part of the main story)...The three friends, although tiring continued up the mountain; the purple mountain; the mountain they had only heard about, but now they were on it and the adventures were about to begin, the excitement within the three of them gave them the strength to keep going. They had been told that their was a Snow Leopard Kingdom at the very summit, and that the beautiful majestic leopards were protected by the Purple Elvins and their princess. Although they had been told all there was to be told about that place, nothing could have prepared them for what they saw before them as they reached the summit of the mountain, all three were exhausted but mesmerised; and in that moment the king of all snow leopards and his Elvin princess protector turned around to see their visitors, but what was going to happen next, and would the visitors be welcome? ... I have been working on this painting every day for a couple of weeks or more, and I do hope you like it. I painted this using Photoshop CS4 and Wacom intuos3 tablet and pen. The elfin was all my own work no references used, so she began as a sketch and this is how she finished up. The rest is imagination but was of course inspired a little by the floating islands in the Avatar film, I just loved those. lol Only one photo stock reference used, and he of course takes star place and that is the beautiful majestic snow leopard - Thank you Sven for allowing me to use your photo as reference. I also used some of nathies free-stock brushes,on DA, mostly for the rocks. Thank you everyone for sparing a moment to view my gallery. Simply breathtaking, you've outdone yourself yet again! The details are awe-inspiring. I had to go look at the links at Deviant, and I'm so glad I took the time. I loved seeing each of the characters in detail. I think I would've missed some of the fine work on the sword, knife and it's scabbard. I'm loving the story line too!

You do such beautiful work, Jane! Wonderful composition, detail, colors, and always magical. The snow leopard is magnificent. Such a beautiful face and gorgeous hair. Excellent work on the elf! Lovely shape, pose, and lighting. Love the magical castle, color, and light! Very well done!
