Description

From a few weeks, Etna is doing the "whims"! Days ago, tremors, rumbles and lava explosions have enlivened our nights! Lapilli and ash fell on villages below the volcano... luckily, my house was spared! Now it seems to be quieter... hopefully good! Unfortunately I have no photos of explosions at night ... my camera was unloaded... this I shot the morning of July 25. Excuse the imperfect quality of image... I zoomed as much as possible to resume the flow of lava, I hope you manage to see it! I wish you all a happy Sunday! :) Thanks for looking and for previous comments and favourites!

Wow. What a great capture Maria. I was up on Etna (where the restaurant is) in July 2007. Its a beautiful area, but it is a little too close for comfort for me to live there. Sig..

Sai come la penso e quindi , in una foto del genere la bellezza sta nel fatto stesso che , non sempre si puo' avere la comodita' e la possibilita' di riprendere con modi e mezzi adeguati . In casi come questi la tecnica ha importanza minore e , tra le altre cose , vedo buona anche in questo caso, vedo davanti a be una bella foto piena di bei contenuti , Secondo me è già molto . Grazie per averla postata .

on one trip to the Philippines I went near Taal volcano and there were launches to take people to the lake within a island,within a lake within an island(Luzon). any way I was invited to go but since it was smoking I declined.go to a volcano with smoke in a small engine powered launch?no way! outstanding capture.I am glad your home was spared

impressionante, già te l'ho detto, non so se avrei il coraggio di viverci, ma come dici tu, ci si abitua. La foto è molto particolare e piena di atmosfera, credo che non renderebbe lo stesso se fosse "perfetta"... :)
