Description

Dear friends, after a long time another picture from the Baltic Sea. When you leave the shores of the Baltic Sea with its fine and expensive bathing villages and try to explore the inner parts of the isle of Usedom you can find pearls like this: For example, the little agricultural village of Krummin, a typical old village at the shores of the Baltic Sea. It is unbelievable: This little church here with room for 100 or 150 persons is in service for about 800 years! So this little god`s house, named after St. Michael, is older than my hometown Berlin. In 1210 the first priest, GOZWIN, began his service, and from this early times, a steady row of 58 other priests followed - till today..... (To be continued..) Thanks for your interest, for your time in this gallery. Thanks for your comments for my older pics here and a special Thanks fore those, who thad taken my last pics as their favorites.... By till tommorrow, billy

This is a beautiful capture and an amazing history. I did not know that Berlin was not one of the oldest cities in Europe. I'll have to Google it next. Good to see that you are back posting. Dana
