Description

We were at a show today, Jasmine as usual pulled out all the stops & won her class then went on to be Best of Breed. She does everything I ask her & never puts a foot wrong. It was so hot but we managed to keep in the cool in a marquee. Didn't walk round because of the heat. It is amazing how many dogs were dragged round & some of them quite old. Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxxx

wonderful that she took first place in show. thank you for being so considerate on her health by not wakling her in the heat. so many dog owners with show dogs do not think of their health and drag them all over the place in the heat and then wonder why the heat gets to them.

Woo Hoo!! Hooray for Jasmine! She always does so beautifully for you. It's the same all over the world, people just don't understand how difficult it is for dogs to stay cooled, and how rapidly heat can overtake them. The boys always want their morning walk, but in this heat, they don't want to go for their evening walk. We don't force it, we let them decide. I stick Murphy in the laundry tub and soak in the mornings so that he stays cool for his walk, LOL. The walks have been short because of the heat. Mind you, the central part of the country has had some REAL heat, so by comparison, it's much cooler here.
