Description

This is the 2nd in a series of renders based on my Viking Ship model and the Viking Figures of Realms Art, both available at Cornucopia3D. After completing "The Landing" a number of people thought that it was a shame that I didn't show the ship or figures closer up. While not an in your face portrait, there is the fun of seeing 28 figures in a Vue scene that are not low poly. I would like to move on to an even closer POV based on a Deck activity, but I am getting ready for an extended commission and don't know when I will get back to this. As it is I'm praying for cooler weather so I can stand to go out and catch up on the yard. I also plan to do a large close up battle scene from the 1100's and in need of a decent set of Poser Horse Armor if anyone can recommend or tell me of anyone working on such. I just will not have the time to model it myself. Not looking for mother of pearl fancy.. just plan battle armor.

I can't find the words to tell you that ALL in this picture is EXCELLENT!! I made a horse armor any years ago ( XIIth century ), but I loose it in a computer crash. If you want, as you are a great modeler, I can send you documents by mail. I have a lot of books at home ( as art teacher and fond of history ), particularly the complete Medieval Encyclopedia by Viollet-Le-Duc. Are you interested? bouchetal@wanadoo.fr I must say that i am away from home the next three weeks....Holidays, holidays... Alain ( 3DClassics )
