Description
Carla 'B' has been my action girl, a superb girl to teach anything to, she picks things up so quickly. She did a bit of flyball, just for fun, we did it in my friends paddock. The idea is to go over the jumps, hit a box that expells a tennis ball & come back over the jumps with it. She picked that up so easy but there were times when she would come back via the ditch, you couldn't see her just all the yuck flying in the air :o) When we went on the park she would spend a lot of time just rolling in the grass, whether on the lead or not. She loves the water, try keeping her out of it, ("sorry, what did you say, ok just have a dip then come back, OH you don't want me in the water, SORRY didn't quite catch the DON'T") She used to do heelwork to music, (the dogs do various things like weaving through your legs, twisting, walking backwards etc, set to a piece of music) boy was she fast, she would do 4 weaves to the other dogs in the teams 2, because she was so fast I had to alter her moves accordingly. She LOVED it & would do it now if I let her. At training club we used to put on demonstrations, she was in her element. She made us laugh because as soon as the music came on for the appropriate routine, she was up & raring to go. Mind you she did bring her own music, WOOF, WOOF, WOOF :o) As I said showing a real NO, No, what a waste of precious time when you can be using your brain, thought Carla. It was also a catch 22, she would get het up & I would as I knew what she was like, so we retired gracefully. Mind you when I was showing her, someone would ask if I was there & the reply would be "Well I haven't heard Carla yet so she carn't be" :o)

I love this walk down memory lane Barbara. Carla sounds like such a magnificent animal. LOL the top right image looks like she fetched a stick of dynamite. That could be a problem :) Excellent collage of images

I'm sorry I've been so long in getting to your gallery .. lots of catching up to do! And thank you for stopping by my gallery, even though I haven't been in here in forever!! I've missed the girls! I love this montage, and I think my fave is the bottom center, where Carla B is shaking off all the water from the ditch! Love her story, too, I had no idea she did "dancing", she truly is a fast learner, and very versatile girl!
