UPDATED: September 19, 2010
Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

Four or five years ago Mrs Sea_Dog got three free nights at the Wynn. (no telling how much she'd had to feed the slots to get those nights) It's a great place and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. One of these days I'm going to make it back. Great shot.

Gorgeous shot, Bill! Love the sweep of the building. You had a great vantage point for this one - the greenery in the lower right corner is a perfect balance for the deep blue skt in the upper left. Brilliant!

Lovely Bill. Did you use a circular polarizer for this? Just as an aside, if you turned it on it's side, it would be great for riding a skateboard on! Just sayin....

An amazing curve to this building and I like the angle you have taken this from. Excellent capture.
Chipka
The curve and the angle and the colors make this one absolutely stunning shot! I love the sheen. And I agree with blinkings, I'd love to turn that on its side and see what a bunch of skateboard punks could do with it.

Oh I remember this beauty. I didn't take a picture - just saw it from a distance! Wonderful shot Bill.

Beautiful capture. The white curves on the "black" glass really makes this. And, on the end, the glass is colored by the low sun. Quite a nice contrast. And there's a mirror imaged building belonging to the same complex. Would be interesting to se both. Good job!

Fantastic capture Bill! I like all the foliage in the foreground to highlight the Wynn. You caught the light perfectly. Beautiful blue sky – would have loved to have that as a background for my Scotland photos. Dana

Outstanding image! Thanks for the link to the Encore ... I remember how much I liked that shot! This one is a wonderful foil, even though they're so far apart (at least in your gallery). Great work!
