Description
Another display captured 12/19/05, early in the morning, essentially at the end of that magic eleven day period when my area was treated to this rare atmospheric event of really weird cloud formations.
Definitely zoom worthy.
I've figuratively been up in the air (no pun intended) on titling these cloud images. In fact, on this one I was torn between using Clabbered Clouds, Colloidal Clouds, or Curdled Clouds, so I chose the latter. I could have researched them for their true scientific identities, but felt this would be more fun.
And, let me reiterate, these clouds, along with the other photos I've shown from that same period, were devoid of any moisture, so we experienced no precipitation from them.
I have lots of these to show, so let me know when you get bored with this genre. Because of their uniqueness, I'm featuring them as stand alones, in contrast to my usual and preferred collage presentations.
Sayonara, thankx for coming by, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

I love the pattern in these clouds Harry and I like the "curdled" title. You have to have a little fun once and awhile. Dana

Wonderful spread of what I think are cirro-cumulus clouds, in a sort of herringbone pattern across the sky. Excellent capture, Harry!

Your title describes these clouds so well. A wonderful capture.

Love the title Harry. It does look like curdled milk. I love the cloudscape and saw very similar clouds on my recent holiday. Lovely image indeed.

Excellent shot and title. I remember a day that I saw clouds like this stretched across the sky in San Antonio. I wanted to stare and stare. I was driving at the time so that wasn't practical. Beautiful image! I love the way the curdled clouds fill up the image at the top and then become pinched in, in the distance. Wonderful color and light! I love your cloud shots!
