Description
This capture was made early one morning last winter. It's a great time to go walking on the beach. Not so many snow birds.
I 'm presently trying to paint the scene from my computer moniter because it's too hot to work there now. Maybe I will post the painting when it's finished.

It's funny, I thought this would make a good painting before I read your description...whether it's a painting of this scene or another one. I love those trees. They look so...well...exotic; their shape reminds me of that acacia tree they were always showing at the beginning of the PBS show, Nature...only taller. More like the twiggy supermodel cousins of the acacia. I love the various greens; they're so rich and vibrant, and different. I counted at least 4 different greens in this one shot! Nice! The light is fantastic too...I love early morning light, except when I'm at work early in the morning, and then I just want to be back in bed. This is different though; I'd get up early to wander a beach, and maybe spot a few intriguing critters. Really nice work and I'd love to see the painting when you're finished.
