Description
I'm possibly the worst pen-pal in the world. So after an indecent time wasted before replying Jean's kind message, I felt I could'nt send a message other than this one. For those who don't know Jean (Anmes) and some other British friends came to Padova some weeks ago, and Flavia and me spent one of the most pleasant afternoons in town with them. The fact is that I'm a bit of obsessively maniac, thus when I'm doing something I delay everything else while promising myself I'll do it ASAP, when I am finished. You know how it usually ends.
Hence I wish to dedicate this sunset on the Atlantic Ocean at Tenerife to Jean, to tell her in a way better than words I appreciate her as an artist as well as a friend. Thanks Jean for your patience. My only excuse is that I am a Gemini...

This is gorgeous! And hey, I totally understand, I'm a terrible pen-pal correspondant too! And I'm not a Gemini...oh well. As for this image; it's marvelous. I love the way in which those palm trees look like really skinny fashion models with big hair! The silhouettes are really crisp and superb; they have little hints of color, but they're mostly shadowed. This is so well see and I love the rich, golden orange sunset colors, especially as they're picked up by the ocean. This is really fantastic.
