Description
The Adirondack pulls into a high orbit around Argosa, a desert planet that once supported a modernized, technical society that now lies mostly in ruins.
Back working on the ship model as time allows. I'm thinking of doing some UV skins for other ships in the fleet.
Vue Pro Studio 7 (mac), Studio Max for the ship, textured in UV Mapper. The planet was created in Vue with 3 spheres- the planet map is actually a stock photo of a stone texture by me; then a volume cloud layer and a custom diffusion layer for the outer atmosphere. Assembled in Photoshop with a starfield and planet by Flaming Pear and a Hubble Telescope nebula. Still trying to improve my work with layer masks.

Right on Paul! I always appreciate your work because you take the time to create your own models, textures, environments, etc... A lot of work and effort goes into your renders and it shows- not to mention the exponential learning curve you can tackle by doing everything yourself!
