splendid shot...but I think wild animals are better in their natural settings ... unless the species is threatened with extinction by man-made invader!

fitting title... my son had an iguania... it was about 6 inches and grew about 30 - and was still growing... he would let it roam his room, one day he left his window open and it was gone - he never heard from the neighbors - cool shot.

Fantastic, I love the tension of the cage and lizards. A lot could be said of that. The detail is wonderful, can almost feel the skin. (*oh think not) +5

I can see a double cage is necessary for these beasts... Great capture! Vashek

Do they ever get out into an open space?

These imperious, impressive lizards, trigger in me a memory of childhood in Africa. I had a giant African chameleon, one foot in length, that I kept in a terrarium I had made for it. I would capture locusts for it to eat. When the chameleon saw a locust, its independently movable eyes would swivel around to focus on the prey. Then slowly, slowly, its mouth would open and ZAP! A long tongue would flash out, capture the locust, and Crunch. I was always amazed that such a slow animal could suddenly move so fast. Thanks for the memory, Barb!
