Description

On my recent holiday at the coast, we visited Sea World at the uShaka Marine Park in Durban and were lucky to catch a dolphin show. The light was bad and I shot with a 200mm lens, so I had to use an ISO of 1600 which makes the image slightly grainy. I am still very happy with the result as I absolutely adore dolphins! I see dolphins and think: "So long, and thanks for all the fish." I always get a giggle from that. Of course, me being me, I thought that the moment I saw this thumbnail...actually my first thought was about how much catching up I have to do, and then I thought of the dolphin quote from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I love the motion and color in this! Dolphins are amazing creatures. They always look as if they're grinning!

Fine shot perfectly captured mid-air. I am absolutely jealous of the fact you can use ISO 1600. With my 4/3rds Olympus ISO 1600 is possible but way too grainy. This looks very good.
