Fine capture of the Meadowlark Lemon flowers in all their glory, Marilyn! I was reading in Popular Photography magazine that there are tons of wildflowers around Mount Rainier in the state of Washington.

WOW! You gotta see this on full zoom. Well, of course you saw it on full zoom, you took the photo after all! But WOW! I love the kinda dreamy, watery effect you postworked into this. It feels like a painting, and the colors are marvelous! Yep, you're doing that cool color thing again, and that's never a bad thing! I love it when photography gets impressionistic and this is as impressionistic as shots like this can possibly come. This is great! It also reminds me of a scene from the movie version of Everything is Illuminated where the trio of characters and the "officious" seeing eye dog have nearly reached their destination...there's a sea of sunflowers that they walk through, and it's so vivid, so lively, so...poignant, especially when they get to the house in the middle of it all and there's laundry on clotheslines, drying...it's all white bedsheets and stuff like that and it's quite striking...it's the sunflowers that really grabbed me and this photo grabs me in exactly the same way. WOW!
