Con la foto di stasera vorrei inviare il mio sostegno a Marcia Gomes la cui figlia deve affrontare un intervento chirurgico , con l’augurio che si concluda tutto al meglio e nel più breve tempo possibile .
Questo prima di tutto , poi ho visto che ha cancellato la sua galleria e non ne so il motivo, ma spero sia una cosa momentanea.

What a handsome bird. So nice of him to pose for you. According the wikipedia these only come to Europe to nest. Perhaps you will be lucky and find one. Che un uccello bello. Così bello di lui a posare per voi. Secondo il wikipedia questi solo venire in Europa a nidificare. Forse sarete fortunati e trovare uno.

The ´HOP´ as we say it in Dutch.. I have seen this bird just one when I was a little kid.. Too bad... I always hope to see him again.

What a beautiful bird! I've never seen it before. Wonderful colors and detail. I like the way he stands with one foot raised and bright eyed, ever watchful for danger. This stance and the wide expanse of ground that you have captured him on emphasizes his need to be alert and ever watchful. I also like him against this background, because he is such a splash of color against the almost uniform gray. I like his soft, smooth feathers against the rocky texture of the background too. Excellent capture! My best wishes to Marcia and her daughter. I hope all goes well for them.
