Description

Here in this huge National Park are found the'Claron Formations' which are commonly known as 'Hoodoos'. A Hoodoo is a pillar of rock, usually of fantastic shape, left by erosion. The local meaning is 'to cast a spell'. They say that the Hoodoos cast a spell on all who visit!!! It truly is an awesome sight and I will upload a few shots for you to see.

This is the only park I can claim to have hiked every trail. Such a special place, I'd hike them all again!

It's a wonderful place that is technically an amphitheater more than a canyon due to that erosion you spoke of not being initiated by a central stream. You have captured it wonderfully mate. Thanks for sharing your photo.
