Description

The worldly wise and realisticly minded Theros begs Waylon to meet with him to discuss an issue of great importance. Waylan agrees and meets him later that night, at the Stormy Seas in the dock district. The two merchants share a table in a dark corner of the tavern, away from prying eyes and curious ears. "I'm telling you Waylon, you can't ignore the threat, as if it didn't exist" Theros begins. "Ill not pay a single copper piece to these thugs, for their so-called protection" Waylon replies. "If you do not accept the guilds protection and pay just like the rest of us, they will surely kill you my friend" Theros continues. "In an attempt to pacify his wise companion, Waylon reluctantly agrees to consider the advise" The two finish their drinks and exit the establishment. They round the first corner where they will part company, each living in different areas of the bustling port town. "Do not take too long in your decision my friend."..."These are not a patient lot" Theros advises Walon as they shake hands and prepare to say goodnight. With nerves on edge, both turn a startled eye to the end of the alley, at the sound of a cat knocking over a garbage can. A shadow drifts from above behind the overly confident Waylon. The deadly maneuver is meant to deal with sentries, without alerting others. The life-stealing blade enters Waylons neck from the side and thrusts forward, preventing even the slightest sound of alarm. In the brief few seconds it takes the pair to react to the distractive sound it is all over. Before he can turn back around, Theros feels the grip in Waylons handshake go limp and pull away from him. Theros turns in time to watch his companion collapse without a sound at his feet. Terrified, Theros looks around, but there is only the two of them and no sign of what just happened other than the mortal wound in Waylons throat. Theros glances back to his dead companion and curses the mans stubborn pride. "You poor fool" Theros whispers and quickly hurries along, wanting to get to the safety of his home. The names and the nature of their offenses do not matter to Calisto. She is neither judge, nor jury. Her role in the justice system of the deadly streets of Waterdeep is much darker and devoid of all emotion. She is a contract killer. Enjoy, -Arakas

Nicely done! Both the image and the "hit". She's clearly very good at what she does, and you're clearly very good at what you do. Bravo!
