Description
The daughter of a talented thief and an abusive mother. Her father trained Calisto from an early age, in the ways of life, on the not so kind streets, of the port town she was born in. By nine she was his most trusted courier and spy. By 12 she could handle a knife nearly as well as most of his peers. Calisto is a natural at appearing out of thin air and vanishing without a trace. At 14 Calistos father was killed by her crazed and all too often drunk mother. Callisto avenged her fathers death, then set out on her own, to make a life for herself on the dangerous docks and back alleys. It wasn't long before Calisto stepped on the wrong toes and ended up looking down the blade of the cities most dangerous assassin. Informed she would need to come up with a rediculous payment in compensation for her tresspasses, or be killed, Calisto boldly made the dangerous man a counter offer. Teach her his ways and eventually be more than compensated, or kill her where she stands. In light of her bravery and undeniable talent, he accepted her offer. Over the next 5 years, Calisto learned more than most in her trade would know in a lifetime. At 19 her teacher and father figure was killed by the head of the guild. He desired Calisto as his executive, over her former mentor and simply eliminated the man. Way wrong answer. The guildmasters death was slow and most unpleasant, at Calistos vengeful and well trained hand. Preferring to work alone, she did not assume control of the guild. She did however make it all too clear, that she was now at the top of the food chain on the streets and that anyone questioning her position, would not be for long. At 19 Callisto is now the undisputed leader on the streets of Waterdeep. An assassin for hire, without peer. Enjoy, -Arakas

Wow! She looks to cute to be dangerous. A tool she uses well, no doubt. I do hope she and Shandara end up as friends, not foes. But if not, my money's on Shandara. An excellent character portrait, my friend. And an engaging storyline to go with it. Bravo!
