The Boor Planetary System: Elegoriane Combine Location: Located outside of the Galactic League. Star: Class G Planet/s: This race spans at least two star systems. HomeWorld: Chosa Environment: Earth standard Race: The Dominate and ruling race are the Boor, but includes a large assortment of beings. Intelligence: Average to Above Average Height: 1.95-2.5 meters Mass: 75-120 kg Physical Attributes: The Boor: Are a Canine based humanoid. Their skin varies in color from copper to dark bronzed skinned with dark colored hair. Boor possessed large incisors teeth, and their fingers tips are clawed. They possess low-light vision, springing from their canine ancestry. They mature quickly, grow out of adolescence at 18, then enjoyed a healthy adulthood which lasts approximately 60 years. Partly due to their pack mentality, Boor society is slow to evolve and relies heavily on tradition. The Boor is a hunting/warrior culture. Those living on the homeworld are expected to demonstrate their martial or hunting prowess. Life on homeworld is harsh, with aristocrats squabbling among one another for social standing and wealth. Warriors were perpetually in high demand as gladiators, mercenaries, hunters, and soldiers. Pacifistic philosophies were originally looked down upon on Chosa, until the first contact with alien life. At that point those who made a conscious decision to abandon the way of the warrior were gathered together to form a sort of planetary think tank and not allowed any outside influence, the Boor chose to look at them as a new form of weapon, and in return they given great prestige as the combined, learned knowledge benefited society on a whole. The stability of the Boor culture initially caused Boor to have troubles understanding the complex and relatively rapid changes in other societies. Weapons: Edged weapons created by superb weapon smiths are built of a blended hybrid metals and ceramics, creating an alloy that is then tempered and ground to the finest edge. These weapons have microscopic ridges. Coupled with technology that vibrates the blade in a minute saw-like motion thousands of times per second, this weapon can sever and slice its way through all but the densest metals like butter. Culture: A highly advanced star spanning culture, the Boor were the first race to be gathered by the De'Suora. Their war-like nature made this a necessity as they would have become implacable resisters to the growth of the newly created Elegorian combine. The ruling class of Boor govern their homeworld through a council made up of the warrior caste grouped into clans or houses with the eldest or ruling member holding a council seat. The second most powerful group in the Boor culture is made of think tanks, family alliances and then the working classes. The Boor are master conservationist, and technicians of planetary ecosystems and land management. The planet Chosa is a masterpiece of forest, wildlife and the balance of needed resourses, against the needs of the humanoid population. Their cities are pristine and run off of almost totally renewable energy. The Boor can and have restored the ecology of entirely ruined planets in less than a two generation span. Boor society is very structured. Placement in the pride or the pack (Pride Honor)is paramount. Personal honor is not very important matter to most Boor. Most Boor pride themselves on hand to hand combat and hand held weapons. They use a form of martial art called Atporia that is extremely lethal. They also use various edged and energy weapons. Such as rapier like sabers, stiletto bladed knives, whips and maces or flails. A duel for pack or house supremacy can and often does include several types of weapons and ends only when one yields or death. A major aspect of this hunting culture is the the keeping of packs of "Terror Wolves". Terror Wolves are Alpha predators native to Chosa.
